Meetings

The Transportation Research Board’s Freight Transportation Planning and Logistics Committee (AT015) typically conducts in-person committee meetings twice a year. The committee meetings are held in conjunction with the TRB Annual Meeting in Washington, D.C. (normally, in January of a given year) and at a Mid-Year meeting which varies in location from year to year (often held during the month of July). In addition, the full committee may also be convened via scheduled conference calls.

The committee meetings serve many important purposes, such as addressing official committee business, considering action items, and charting a future course for the committee. The duration of the meetings is typically one hour and forty-five minutes.

Committee friends, members of other TRB committees, and guests are all welcome to attend and participate in meetings of the Freight Transportation Planning and Logistics Committee. When possible, efforts are made to allow persons to participate in the meetings from remote locations.
