The Freight Transportation Planning and Logistics Committee won TRB’s Blue Ribbon Award for “Increasing the Diversity of Committee Membership”. The Award was given for commitment and success in enhancing committee diversity by identifying, strategizing, and prioritizing the active involvement of historically under-represented groups with non-traditional backgrounds in the TRB’s freight planning and logistics community.
Committee Chair Sushant Sharma will receive the award on behalf of the committee during TRB 2024 at the Technical Activities, All Chairs Meeting, held in the Marriott Marquis, Independence Salon DE (M4), on Sunday, January 7, 2024, 7:30 am – 9:30 am at Washington D.C.
